MiMaquina maps specialty coffee shops in Los Angeles by what's actually behind the counter, not just what's in the cup. Every listing includes the espresso machine each café runs — La Marzocco, Synesso, Slayer, and more — because the equipment shapes the coffee, and it's worth knowing.
The map serves two kinds of visits equally: finding a café for a specific machine, and finding the right space for the moment — quiet enough to read, easy to meet someone at, or set up to work from for a few hours. A strong pastry case counts too.
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. Coverage is intentionally limited to Los Angeles for now, prioritizing accuracy over breadth. The map improves through the people who use it — save the cafés you return to, rate the ones you've visited, and add a machine if one's missing. If something's wrong or a café isn't listed yet, contributions are always welcome.
